| Reason for Joining: My first pet was my Aisha Isha (pronounced EE-sha) Sphinx. I fell in love with these cat like creatures, and the first time I saw one in the pound I knew I had to do something. If it was up to me, I would have taken every lonely Aisha in, but DARN that pet limit!! I ended up devoting an entire account to training abandoned Aishas and then began training other pets on my main account as well. Joining the DLAA was the next logical step. |

| Reason for Joining: Some time ago, I was bored and decided to do some fooling around with the Neopets search bar. I soon came upon a lovely kau that had been adopted from DLAA. Clicking on the banner, I started to explore the blue colored site (which was part of NeoHolics at the time). After a few months, I finally joined and has been here ever since to feed my little zapping addiction. |
| About DNT: Your average crazy, random, sarcastic, teenager, I live in the good old US of A. I'm easily obsessed over many things and I tend to jump from one topic to another very quickly in conversation. I love drawing both traditional art and digital art, making graphics on Gimp, playing video games (especially Kingdom Hearts!), reading novels, and writing. | Reason for Joining:I'm absolutely hopeless when it comes to strays (which is how I ended up with thirteen cats). Even if a pet is made of pixels, it still deserves a home. I'd been looking for a good Neopian adoption agency for some time, and when one of my friends became a partner, she wouldn't stop talking about it. DLAA seemed like the right place for me. |
About Jesse : Most of my time is devoted to my job and my pets. I'm 23 years old and saving for college, I'm a Californian by birth and choice, and I've been playing Neopets for over four years now on various accounts.
Aside from spending time on Neopets, my favorite passtimes are roleplaying, drawing, reading, playing videogames, and watching anime. | Reason for Joining: Well, I applied to be a partner before I was a member of the forums. =3 As I said then, I love looking at what pets are up for adoption, and then running to my friends saying, in an oh-so-sophisticated fashion, "ZOMG! O_O JOE!! TOMATO CHIA! UFA! DLAA! GO!!" then Joe would calmly reply, "OHEMGEE!!! =o!! MY DREAM PET!1!! THANKIES KLOUD!" ...or something like that. It's always fun just to hang around and look through the site, so I thought that I might as well get involved myself. =D |

Well, I love music, art, and drama. =D I've played piano for 9 years, and love the instrument. My family is also very active in my church. Really, if I'm not at home, there's a 50% chance of finding me there instead. Every year, starting in December, my church has a youth musical for high school and middle school students, so I'm particularly busy around that time. ^^; But it's always a lot of fun, and I have a tendancy to ramble on about it, should you ask.

| Reason for Joining: When I was looking for a Neopian place to belong, the adoption agencies and guilds were where I started. DLAA stood out from all the others, partly because of the forum rather than the guild chat board style, but also because of the pleasing nature of the artwork. The friendliness of the forums convinced me that I'd found my place in the Neopian universe. I've never regretted joining.

About Su: I'm the oldest person who's in DLAA, at least the oldest who will admit it! I'm a grandmother, a cat owner, fishkeeper, and pet lover in general. My children are grown and gone from home; having two of the three be adopted is what made me "get" the concept of and reasons for adopting neopets instantly, the first time I saw the term in conjunction with Neopia. Even before I was a part of DLAA as a member, not to mention a partner, I was rescuing pets from the pound. If I could convince TNT to allow me to have, say, 100 pets with the necessary accounts, I would do so, and would enjoy every one of them! And no, they wouldn't all be painted or limited edition. I like plain old pets, too!
