Welcome to DL's Adoption Agency, frequently shortened to DLAA. As you can see, we are a Neopets Adoption Agency, dedicated to placing our darling fosters in good homes with people like you! But just where did we get started? What are we like? Why does SaraJane have an obsession with Kool-Aid?

This history of DLAA is long, tracing all the way back to 2002, when it was a tiny agency, hosted on a petpage. Soon, it moved to become a subsidiary of the late Neoholic. Now, several years later, we're all on our own, with our very own website.

Wondering what exactly we do here? All our Partners have the Lab Ray, which enables us to zap pets. So after we rescue some poor Neopet from the pound, we zap them with the Lab Ray until they turn into a Limited Edition/Painted pet. Then up for adoption they go, until we find great homes for them!

DLAA has a few things that set it apart from other agencies. There is no guild that you need to join in order to adopt or get an advatange when applying. We will never ask anything in return for a pet other than a thoughtful application to let us know why you want our sweeties, and a banner on the pet's lookup when you adopt it. Furthermore, You are never required to write a petpage application, no matter what the pet in question is. However, you're still welcome and encouraged to do so, as it shows great dedication!

DLAA is special in that it is run by its entire community - whether it is the watchful Administrators and Moderators, the zap-happy Partners, or the delightful medley of fans who help keep the community alive, DLAA is full of many people who will help you feel right at home.

Feel free to apply for any pet you see up for adoption - in fact, you can see all of our fosters here! Just make sure you read the Rules first; they're not difficult to follow at all, really.
